Hello and welcome to Alex's Blog,
J&S Accessories Ltd are supporting a select few racers for the 2019 season ahead - we wanted to get to know our riders a bit better and thought we would share their answers to our questions with you! Enjoy!
Name: Louis Valleley
From: Maidstone, Kent
Previous race experience: Motostar 125's, National Junior Cup 300, Superteens, and MX!!
Racing number (or how you picked it): #14, I have always been #4 but last year, number 4 got reserved by someone else, and number 14 was the first number that came to mind. It gave me some luck last year, so we are sticking with it.
Any superstition? No
First win? Donington Park National 2016, and will be fighting for more this year ;)
First racing memory? My first race in MX at 5 years old on a 65cc, I was the happiest kid alive! Then my first race on
tarmac at 9 years old, I came second in the wet with a wet front tyre and a dry
Any racing heroes when you were younger? Ricky Carmichael
How did you get in to racing? My first proper race bike was a KX65. People always said to my dad I should start racing. All of a sudden we are racing every weekend. I always loved road racing, and then started racing on tarmac when I was 9. But MX has taught me a lot even at a young age.
Do you ride on the road? No, but I will when I'm older. Would love to tour at some point though.
Favourite piece of kit? I love my Alpinestars suit, but I may change my mind tomorrow when I ride with my new BKS Apex suit ;)
Favourite race track? Got to be Cadwell Park, you either love it or hate it and I love it!! An amazing track!
Hobbies outside of racing? Cycling and the gym. Try and do MX or pitbiking whenever I can!
Occupation outside of racing? I work with my dad doing building work. I also have another job in retail for extra money for racing. Every little helps!
Aspirations in racing? Aspiring to be world champion!
Any other thing you want to say? Thank you so much to everyone at J&S for their support this year!!
