28th December 2018

Hello and welcome to Alex's Blog

We are very proud to announce that we will be supporting the following riders for the 2019 race season:

Glenn Irwin who will be riding for Quattro Plant Kawasaki in the British Superbike Championship. We will be providing him with a Frank Thomas Airbag Suit - the design will be shown in a future blog of all of our supported racers - you'll see it here first! Here is what Glenn had to say: "Once I spoke to Christian about working with J&S Accessories and the Frank Thomas brand, I was immediately excited. Having seen the quality of the suits combined with the D air system there is no smarter looking safer combination."

Glenn Irwin's team mate Ben Currie who will also be riding for Quattro Plant Kawasaki in the British Superbike Championship. Ben will also be wearing a Frank Thomas Airbag Suit.  Ben says "I believe together we can raise the Frank Thomas brand with plenty of success in 2019 now knowing my safety and appearance is top notch."

J&S supported Joe Collier last year and are thrilled to be supporting Joe on his new team this year for the  CPD Kawasaki Superstock 1000. Joe will also be wearing a Frank Thomas Airbag Suit (design to be unveiled soon! Here is what Joe had to say: "So happy to be continuing with J&S for 2019 after having such a good experience with them this year it was a no brainer for me, I can't wait to get out on track in my Frank Thomas D-Air suits keeping me safer than I ever have been!!"

Another returnee to the J&S Accessories fold is Joe Francis who has graduated from Supersport to the British Superbike Championship with his new team PR Racing. Last year we supplied him with BKS suits, this year he is using Frank Thomas D-Air suits. "I am delighted to be signed to J&S again this season and look forward to wearing my Frank Thomas D-Air racing suit. Throughout the 2018 season in the Supersport series I was impressed with the quality and performance of the BKS suits I wore. Now I have graduated up to the BSB I have full confidence and look forward to wearing Frank Thomas this year."

Yet another returnee with an improved ride is Taylor Moreton who has also been taken on by PR Racing and will ride in the National Supersport 600. This talented young racer will be riding in a BKS Apex Suit.  "I couldn't be happier being in BKS this year with J&S. The suit provided me with superb comfort and protection last year while getting compliments on the suit from spectators and family. It held well with everything I could throw at it."

Ethan Sparks is a precocious talent in the world of motorcycling at the tender age of just 8 years old!! This Maidstone native is competing in the Cool Fab British Mini Bike Championships and looks set to also ride some wild cards in the Mini GP 50 series. Ethan isn't fully sponsored by us but we will be giving him some help along the way and you should definitely watch out for him.

Another returnee to the J&S fold is Josh Owens. He says "I am delighted to be continuing my partnership with J&S into the 2019 season, The quality of the kit they provided means I have one less thing to think about come race day knowing my kit is safe, comfy and of course looks the part! This season is a big opportunity for me to showcase my talents with a top team and become double British GP2 champion and I am thrilled that J&S are along for the ride, As always a big thanks to Christian and everyone else behind the scenes making this happen."

Several more riders are yet to be confirmed. Watch this space!
