Alpinestars Tech-Air Race Air Bag System product information

The Alpinestars Tech-Air Race air bag system is designed for serious track day riders, but with a simple upgrade to the systems firmware it can also be configured to the Tech-Air Street setting for use on the roads. The Alpinestars Tech-Air system is a two-part set-up of an air bag vest which is connected to the inside of compatible Alpinestars clothing. This system allows the air bag vest to be easily swapped between compatible Alpinestars clothing. The result of over 10 years development in Moto GP, the Tech-Air system uses electronic sensors built in to the vest's lining which constantly monitors the rider's behaviour, any sudden changes to that behaviour and the system activates the airbag, giving additional protection to the back, kidneys, chest and shoulders. The Alpinestars Tech-Air Race system is a completely self-contained unit - there is no bike-to-rider wires, configuration, or tethers required. The Tech-Air Race air bag vest is compatible with Alpinestars Missile, GP Tech V2 and GP Pro suits and Missile Jackets. Note: The Alpinestars Tech-Air Race vests can only be purchased in-store as they need to be registered to each rider.
