Arai QV Helmet Dark Citizen product information

The Arai QV Dark Citizen. The Arai QV is a sports-touring helmet featuring a dizzying array of advancements. The outer shell uses Arai's proprietary Peripheral Belt Complex Laminate Construction, borrowed from their F-1 technology, which greatly increases shell strength without adding weight to the helmet. The shell shape itself was designed using Arai's Variable Axis System (VAR) to produce a rounder and smoother shell that gives the all-important 'glancing off' properties needed for superior helmet performance in real world accidents. Fitted as standard is the VAS MAX Vision visor to give improved visibility with an anti-fog Pinlock insert. Ventilation is improved with inlet vents on the crown and chin, with multiple exhaust vents at the rear, neck and side. The vents have been integrated in to the shell for better aerodynamics and reduced wind noise. Internally the Arai QV has a multi-density EPS inner for impact absorption and features a 5mm 'peel-away' layer on the temple crown and cheek pads for the rider to customise the perfect fit and positioning on their head. The cheek pads now have an Emergency Release System (ERS), allowing them to slide out when the orange tabs on the pads are pulled. The antimicrobial liner stays fresher between cleaning and is removeable and washable. A Double D retention system, removable nose guard and chin wind protectors add to the high-specification of the Arai QV Dark Citizen motorcycle helmet.
