The Alpinestars CR-X Women's Drystar Riding Motorcycle Shoes have been designed to be versatile for walking all day but equally effective for riding. They offer comfort and protection, featuring a Drystar waterproof and breathable membrane to keep your feet dry and comfortable, regardless of the weather. These have been designed with a sole unit 'DROP' (or the offset between heel and toe) set at 9 mm (many running shoes have a 9 mm drop) to ensure a smooth heel-to-toe transition when walking, thanks to the EVA midsole. Forefoot Flex grooves in the midsole provide enhanced forefoot comfort (the grooves promote flexing in the forefoot area) and a lightweight inner bootie (a removable Ortholite sock) with open-cell PU compound prevents overheating, making these ultra-comfortable with a minimal design. In addition, the CR-X Drystar shoes provide premium levels of protection, featuring a full-length TPU inner sole plate and hidden asymmetric lateral and medial TPU ankle discs for superior riding protection. A TPU layer at the gear change area plus CE approved to EN 13634:2017 (protective footwear for motorcyclists). All this protection doesn't mean you have to compromise on comfort. The tongue with bellows construction has been designed to remain in position when riding for a snug, secure fit. At the same time, an internal EVA layer sandwiched between outer and inner materials reduces pressure on the foot in the gear shift area. The asymmetric outsole stud configuration provides excellent grip and abrasion resistance, made from an oil-resistant dual-rubber compound. Also available in a variety of colourways.
