Qualifying For Credit
You will only be considered for finance if you:
Are at least 18 years old
You have a gross annual income each year of more than £5,000
Are a permanent UK resident and have lived in the UK for at least 3 years.
Have a UK bank account capable of accepting Direct Debits
You are not currently bankrupt, subject to an Individual Voluntary Agreement (IVA), or have any County Court Judgments (CCJs)
Use of your personal data
In order to process your application, you will be asked to provide information about your personal, employment and financial situation. Deko will need to share your personal data with Omni Capital Retail Finance Limited - the lender so that they can make a decision about whether to offer you finance. Omni Capital will perform a search with one or more Credit Reference Agencies to conduct their creditworthiness and affordability assessment to help them make their decision.

Your lender will provide you with a copy of their Privacy Policy with your loan documents.

Finance decision
Your application will be assessed based on eligibility, credit history and affordability and Deko will let you know the outcome in just a few seconds.
It’s important to know that when applying for finance a soft credit check is done and only once all security checks have been completed and your deposit has been paid will a hard credit check be made, which is recorded on your credit file.
Once approved, Deko will let you know who the lender is and provide you with their full contact details.
You then just need to digitally sign your credit agreement, pay your deposit and wait for your order to arrive.
In a few cases, your application may be referred to a lender for manual assessment and you’ll be notified by email of the credit decision within 24 hours.
If you’re not approved for finance it could be for a variety of reasons and the lender will be able to give you more information.
Repaying the loan
Your first direct debit payment will be taken approximately 15 to 30 days after you receive your purchase.
This will show on your statement as a payment to your lender. You have the right to repay all or part of the loan early at any time.
Cancellation
There is a 14-day cooling off period where you can withdraw from the credit agreement after signing your documents.
If you wish to do this please contact J&S Accessories. We can cancel the application on your behalf. There is no need to contact Deko or your lender.
A payment plan does not affect our standard refund and returns policy.
Just contact us and we'll cancel your application and the lender will refund your deposit and let you know of any outstanding balance if applicable.
Helmet, Clothing and Accessories Finance Complaints Procedure
Deko always aim to provide consumers with the highest of standards while using their service. However, in the event that they make a mistake or fail to meet your every requirement, they encourage you to get in touch with them so that they can remedy the situation.
Deko would like:
To receive your complaint or query and understand your concerns.
To resolve your complaint as soon as possible.
To make sure you are completely satisfied with how they have handled your complaint.
You can contact Deko Customer Service team by email support@dekopay.com or on 0800 294 5891.
If Deko cannot resolve your complaint right away they will:
Send you a written acknowledgement within five working days of receiving your complaint.
Send you a written update after two weeks.
Send you a full written update detailing where they are after four weeks.
If Deko have been still unable to resolve the matter after eight weeks they will write to you again, with either a final response letter detailing their findings or if they are unable to provide a final response, a letter detailing why they are not in a position to provide a final response.
In the unlikely event, you are still dissatisfied, you are entitled to refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman, which Deko will provide details of how to do. This should be done straight away, but must be within six months of the date of their final response.
You must complete Deko's internal complaints procedure before commencing dealings with the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS).
