The Alpinestars Faster-2 WP motorcycle boot are an aggressively profiled short sports boot with an upper constructed from a lightweight, durable and abrasion-resistance microfibre. These offer a one-piece Velcro instep strap for quick, personalised and secure closure as well as significantly reducing the boots overall weight. The strap has a soft PU-tipped puller to aid grip when closing. The Faster-2 WP boots offer an integrated waterproof membrane for guaranteed performance in wet weather, Alpinestars' speed lacing system is derived from Formula 1 and provides precision fit and comfort by strategically enveloping the foot for support and structure plus ergonomic lateral toe-slider for improved feel and sensitivity without compromising on protection. These also feature innovative heel construction adapted from technology first developed by Alpinestars auto racing department which features multi-compound construction ergonomic, rounded polypropylene heel counter which provides support, protection and stability as well as newly developed rubber compound sole with textured grip patterning for excellent performance against slipping, on or off the bike, while promoting water run-off and support. The TPR lateral ankle insert protects against abrasion and light impacts whilst double density ankle protector on medial side layered under the upper boot surface offers protective performance and abrasion resistance in key areas as well as performance padding on tongue and collar provides high levels of comfort and fit around the ankle and instep. The Alpinestars Faster 2 WP boots also offer highly breathable 3D mesh lining with microfibre suede insert to stop heel from slipping, internal toe box and heel counter, PU midsole for comfort and integrated steel shank for enhanced sole rigidity, flex insert on Achilles heel to provide comfort and manoeuvrability on and off the bike plus a replaceable anatomical EVA foot bed with Lycra lining on top for comfort, support and excellent moisture-wicking.
