The Alpinestars S-M5 Compass Motocross helmet is a lightweight off-road helmet with a technologically advanced impact resistant thermoplastic shell that developed in two shell sizes for added aerodynamics and comfort on the bike. The multiple density inner liner ensures the correct density in the correct area for optimum impact absorption while the soft EPS foam prevents damage to the collarbone in the event of a crash. Off-road riding can be hard work but the Alpinestars S-M5 helmet has a full ventilation system with high levels of heat transfer exchange with multi-air inlets and exhaust ports with air ports on the visor to funnel the air through. Inside the S-M5 the removable and washable Silverplus liner is anti-bacterial treated for excellent moisture wicking and removable cheek pads with 3D contoured foam and a soft textile chin strap is wider than certification requirements for optimal safety and rider comfort. Hydration tube channels are integrated into the helmet's cheek pads for convenience and performance. The closure system is double D rings. Other designs and colours are also available.
