The Alpinestars SP-9 gloves combine MotoGP-derived protection with street-versatile functionality. Constructed from abrasion-resistant full-grain goat leather and are CE Level 1 KP certified for verified impact protection. Alpinestars SP-R TPU palm sliders with aramid fibre reinforcements provide abrasion resistance in critical impact zones, with reinforced palm and side-hand overlays to protect high-risk areas during slides. Finger-impact reinforcements with aramid fibre on the finger bridge provide enhanced crash protection. Multi-thickness foam and EVA padding on the knuckles, fingers, palm slider, and cuff give impact absorption. The street finger bridge prevents separation and dislocation of the pinkie and ring fingers in crashes. The long cuff design with a dual closure system provides extended wrist coverage. Synthetic leather on select panels reinforced the goatskin construction, with stretch fabric at finger joints and fourchettes, and a two-layer stretch membrane at the palm-thumb base zone. Accordion stretch panels on the index and middle fingers give superior movement. Pre-shaped anatomical finger pattern gives superior comfort in the riding position with profiled grip insert moulded into the palm and thumb areas.
