These particular Bobbins are not suitable for a Gen 1 ZZR1400 Kawasaki. You need a bobbin with a small lip on the mounting side to space it out and away from the swing arm a little. I had to file a Flat on one end so the bobbin would sit correctly on the mounting lug of the bike. Then the bolt was the wrong thread Pitch at 1.5 instead of 1.25 needed for my bike. I had to buy two more bolts of correct screw pitch and a little extra length too. She’s a heavy bike and I want plenty of thread going in that hole. I ended up buying two more bobbins (Black) more suitable for my Particular bike. They came with correct 10mm bolts and a much longer thread to screw into the swing arm lugs. I’m happier now. These bobbins (Silver) are nicely made and very light in weight, they come with two Allen bolts too. Just no good for my bike.
