The Oxford Boss Alarm 14mm Lock and 12mm Chain features Oxford's strongest ever lock with an integral alarm. The padlock has a 14mm shackle and an ear-splittingly loud 100bB alarm triggered by movement sensors (the padlock can also be engaged without setting the alarm). Combined with a 12mm hardened steel chain, it is approved by Sold Secure and has been awarded Powered Cycle (Motorcycle) GOLD standard and SBSC. Insurance discounts are available in the UK when you use this lock. The padlock is attack-tested and resistant to sledgehammer, saw, bolt cropper and drill attack. The anti-jack shackle design withstands 4.5 tonnes of tensile load, and the removable sealed unit alarm module is vibration-resistant and weather-proof against water, frost and heat. The ultra-loud 100db alarm is the perfect deterrent, but this can also be used without the alarm function. It has three keys and can be used as a disc lock or padlock. A replacement key service is available. Six x LR44 batteries are included, and the 12mm square link chain is made from Ni-Cro-Mo alloy steel with a case-hardened chain to resist bolt cutters. It is zinc coated to prevent corrosion, with a protective cloth sleeve to protect your paintwork. The long links reduce weight, increase portability, and fit all Oxford ground anchors. It can be transported easily under the motorcycle's seat and is available in various lengths.
