The Oxford Products Boss Alarm 14mm Padlock and chain offer the perfect security solution. The padlock has a 14mm shackle and an ear-splitting 100 dB alarm, triggered by movement sensors (the padlock can also be engaged without setting the alarm). Combined with a 12mm hardened steel chain measuring 1.2m in length. The Oxford Boss Alarm Chain Lock has been independently tested and approved by Sold Secure and has been awarded Powered Cycle (Motorcycle) GOLD standard and SBSC. Insurance discounts are available in the UK when you use this lock. This lock has a key replacement service. When you buy your lock, note down the number that is either attached to the keys on a metal tag or laser-etched on each key. The padlock is attack-tested and resistant to sledgehammer, saw, bolt cropper, and drill attacks, and the anti-jack shackle design withstands 4.5 tonnes of tensile load. The removable sealed unit alarm module is vibration-resistant and weatherproof against water, frost, and heat, and can be used as a disc lock or a padlock. Batteries are included (6 x LR44). The 12mm square link chain is made from Ni-Cro-Mo alloy steel, case-hardened to resist bolt cutters, and zinc-coated to prevent corrosion. A protective cloth sleeve helps prevent damage and makes handling easier, and the long links reduce weight and increase portability. It also fits all Oxford ground anchors and can be easily stowed under the seat.
