It does the job but the tightening handle could do with being a longer, so not to have to use a 17mm spanner to finish the job. The pin, even though it looks quite tough, bends ever so slightly when first used, so it never fits back into the pot. So, it always protrudes too much & makes extra work each time you want to remove a chain pin. Not the end of the world & I recon Oxford know this, so they supply a spare (I'll wait until the original pin actually breaks before using the spare). All of the other attachments are quality & I believe they will last. I'm using it on 520 chains. Rivets just fine (with the extra spanner!)

So, I’d bought a cheaper tool that when peening over the first pin just chewed up so I wasn’t sure that the job was done correctly. The Oxford tool has what looks like a hardened ball bearing as the peening bit and successfully peened the pins with barely a mark on it. Don’t buy cheap tools, pay a little more for the satisfaction of a good safe job done.
