The Tucano Urbano J-Zero jacket is a laminated winter jacket with a modular 2-level protection system. CE Class AA certified, it offers a HYDROSCUD outer shell in two extremely tough fabrics, with water–repellent treatment: The chest and inner sleeves in beaten weave Oxford 300 polyamide to guarantee lightness, comfort and wearability. The shoulder and outer sleeves in CORDURA Oxford 600 guarantee resistance in the points at the greatest risk of impact. Each fabric is laminated with a 20K/20K membrane and taped seams for superior weather protection. Extremely tough SUPERFABRIC fabric inserts on the elbows give superior impact resistance, metal plates on the shoulders, leather inserts on the shoulders, and super–strong YKK zips in the points of greatest stress. The polyester mesh lining keeps you fresh, and the outer winter neck is detachable and re-attachable with a zip and magnet with the edge and inside of the neck in soft neoprene. Ventilated LP2 PRO armours in D3O CE Level 2 on elbows and shoulders give superior impact protection, plus the J-Zero jacket offers pockets for the CP1 CE protectors in D3O on the chest (sold separately) and an Aero 3D mesh pocket for a back protector (also sold separately). A looped band on the shoulders accommodates an action camera, and contrasting padded leather inserts on the right shoulder give additional protection. The J-Zero jacket offers superior ventilation with double aperture front ventilation, with special build waterproofing for the WR zip: the zip placed inside the outside flap is not directly hit by the rain and WR ventilation zip on the back. Side flaps with a zip on the bottom improve comfort and adjustability at the biceps, forearm, wrist and waist. Micrometric adjustment and non–flap fastening at the neck give versatility. A plethora of pockets gives convenient storage and reflective detailing maximises visibility. It measures 76 cm in length (size 50IT–L). It also comes with a Hyperthermal padded inner jacket that is ultralight, removable and can be worn separately. It features THERMORE thermal booster (170gr) thermal padding.
