Hello and welcome to Alex's Blog. Often, I tell you about lots of great deals we have, which I will still do, but I often refer to the brands we stock and I realised I have never actually gone in to any real detail about these brands. So I am going to do a few blogs coming up giving you a bit of history behind the brands we stock starting with IXS.

J&S Accessories Ltd have stocked IXS for many years now. This is a Swiss family owned company based in Luzerne in Switzerland. As part of the Hostettler Group this started out as a simple bicycle and motorcycle workshop in 1906 and has grown into a diverse company with 12 innovative subsidiaries and more than 500 employees.

Acquisition of the general importer of Yamaha motorcycles in 1968 was a big step in the corporate history that spans more than one century. Only four years later, Hostettler Autotechnik AG was founded. The company Intercycle, active in the bicycle sector, followed in 1979, the motorcycle clothing brand iXS MOTORCYCLE FASHION in 1979, and Hostettler Motoren AG in 1987.

The IXS Motorcycle Fashion brand is the part of Hostettler that we have a great partnership with. For well over twenty years J&S have stocked IXS clothing. The renowned Swiss quality of IXS clothing, as well as the diversity and depth of stock have made this brand a huge favourite with our customers. As time has gone on their range has varied from men's leathers and textiles to women's clothing, children's, motocross, helmets, gloves etc.

When you go in to a J&S Accessories Ltd store you will see that IXS is a core staple of our stock. It is a significant prescence throughout every department in store and this is because of the quality and the popularity of this best-selling brand over the years – which still continues to this day.
