Christmas 2016 Deliveries
Hello and welcome to Alex's Blog. Today I want to talk about our Christmas delivery and opening times over Christmas and New Year. First off here are the opening hours in our 28 stores nationwide:
Secondly I want to talk about delivery from our website.
We usually use DPD to dispatch items online. Items dispatched by DPD automatically send notifications so you will receive a text message and/or e-mail letting you know when the parcel will be with you (within a 1 hour time frame) which should be a lot more convenient.
We did a lot of research before changing couriers and decided on DPD because of the customer service and interaction that it offers. We wanted you, the customer, to be in charge when it comes to your delivery. With DPD you can download an app which allows you to track your driver on the day of the delivery, make changes to your delivery whilst it is on the van (without the hassle of having to call anyone up!) and if needs be choose from over 2,500 DPD pickup shops. Whatever is more convenient for you.
You don't need to download an app though if you're not that way inclined! The online tracking is very easy to follow and also allows you to track your parcel in real time and make any changes (if any) that you need to arrange. You will also get a text message and e-mail informing you of the time your parcel will be delivered as well as the name of the driver! We are always here if you do prefer to speak to one of us and we will gladly help no problem at all.
We obviously get a massive influx of orders over the festive period and so do our couriers - so although we send parcels out on a next day delivery service please be aware that this may not always be the case. We will try to keep you notified every step of the way, as will DPD, but please just keep in mind that we cannot guarantee a next day delivery because of the volume of orders. We would suggest if you especially need an item delivering before Christmas Day that you order by 2PM on December 19th. Any items ordered after when will be dispatched on a next day service with DPD but are not guaranteed to arrive before the big day! Here are the details of DPD collections over the Christmas period:

Also on a Christmas theme...... tomorrow night is the J&S Accessories HQ Christmas do - I may treat you to some photos of the night but be warned they may be blurry. Keep an eye out for next weeks blog if you want to see some of the J&S staff in a "merry" state.
Until next time, stay safe!
