J&S and The Corona Virus
Hello and welcome to Alex's Blog, In this time of uncertainty, I wanted to just let you know what J&S Accessories Ltd are doing in regards to COVID-19 aka the Corona Virus.
Store closures
We have just released the information that we are closing our 30 stores nationwide from closing tonight until further notice.
Our stores have been busier than we anticipated which made social distancing increasingly difficult. This decision wasn't made lightly but the safety of our staff and our customers is paramount.
I just wanted to clear a few things up with questions we have been asked on social media regarding the closure of our stores.
How long for?
As this situation is completely unprecedented I am afraid we do not have an answer to this. Hopefully this situation is shortlived. We implore you to be patient with us during this time.
Can I still buy online?
Yes you can. Our online store is open 24/7 and we are dispatching customer orders, as normal, via DPD and Royal Mail. Please be understanding that if there is a delay in shipping with the couriers this will be due to unprecedented circumstances! Our staff will be available to answer your questions via e-mail too. We are not abandoning you.
What about gift vouchers?
As it stands our gift vouchers cannot be used online (this is something we are working on!) BUT if you do want something you can send the voucher to us in the post to: J&S Accessories, Chester Road, Oakmere, Northwich. Cheshire. CW8 2HB. Please include a note with your voucher, your name, delivery address and what item you would like as well as a phone number/e-mail. If there is anything else left to pay we can either call you to take the outstanding amount over the phone or can send an invoice via Paypal. If you are worried about your gift voucher expiring while our stores are closed then please don't. We will be extending all gift vouchers for the period of which we are closed. Don't worry. We will honour them.
Repairs/in store orders
If you have an item that was dropped in to store for repair/sent to suppliers/an item on order then please be aware that we have not forgotten about you. Please be patient with us. Our stores are closing from today but are doing everything they can to contact customers to sort these items. For items that are still at suppliers/being repaired (as most/all of our suppliers may also be closing) your item will be returned to you once we are open again. This is seperate to online orders. These continue as normal.
Are bike sales closed?
Yes. Afraid so. Anyone who has bought a bike with us has been contacted and we are currently sorting socially distant handovers. Please be aware that you can still contact us. We are not abandoning you. You will be contacted by our sales teams if you haven't already been.
What about services/repairs?
These services are also temporarily closed along with our stores. We have contacted all customers booked in to postpone.
Online refunds
We will be continuing as normal online, but please be aware that due to these being unprecedented circumstances we will be very busy. You will not be forgotten.
Please be patient with us
We understand that this situation isn't ideal. It isn't ideal for us either, but everyone's safety is the most important thing. Please remember this when interacting with our staff who all work extremely hard and are doing/will continue to do everything they can to ensure great customer service so that you can stay safe on the roads. You are very important to us and just remember that we are not abandoning you - we will be back as soon as it is safe to do so and you can contact us online in the meantime.

We are even compiling blogs with your tips to get all your wisdom out there to other bikers - so make sure you post your best advice! We will also be announcing special offers/discounts regularly - so keep your eyes peeled!
