May Bank Holiday 2017
Hello and welcome to Alex's Blog. First off I wanted to let you know the Bank Holiday opening times for this Bank Holiday weekend. All of our 29 stores are open the whole Bank Holiday weekend so why not take a little ride-out?

This week I wanted to look at biking on a budget. It doesn't have to cost the earth to be well protected out on the bike so there really is no excuse to not be protected. You may think your trainers or jeans are good enough to keep you protected on the bike but more often than not they just aren't built for a collision. Obviously a crash is (hopefully) the last resort and something that doesn't happen very often, but you want to make sure that you're protected as well as you can be should the worst happen.
I wanted to highlight some different options for you for biking on a budget which won't break the bank:
A lot of people think leathers are ultra-expensive so wouldn't even look at them as opposed to waterproof clothing, but leather, if looked after properly and treated well can last you a LONG time.
