The Raptors D-WP shoes are CE certified to category II with rigid inserts at the ankles and comfortable soft inserts for added protection. TPU gear change protectors and a multi-grip outsole give added confidence along with reflective detailing for added night visibility.

Styling

The Dainese Raptors D-WP Shoes are a casually styled motorcycle trainer made from ultra-light Microfibre. Available in a choice of colours, the boot is mostly black in all colourways with a subtle hint of colour. These are designed to look good on or off the bike and offer style as well as protection. The lace closure system adds to the casual styling.

As you'd expect from trainer-style shoes, the Dainese Raptors D-WP boots are extremely comfortable. Made from ultra-lightweight Microfibre with a waterproof D-WP interior, not only do they keep your feet dry but Dainese's patented D-WP membrane is fully breathable. The microfibre construction means they are not cumbersome nor heavy and they feature a comfort insole as well as comfort padding for protection. Definitely more comfortable and easier to walk in than racing style boots. The ankle height of these boots also makes them less restrictive for walking and riding.

Practicality

The Dainese D-WP waterproof and breathable membrane make these a highly practical boot. Being able to transition from made from street to bike and back again also add to the practicality! Even though these have been designed to look stylish, the whole ethos of Dainese's design is practical. The lace closure system provides a secure, personalised fit, the ultra-lightweight construction makes these ultra-comfortable and the added protection throughout makes these CE certified boots ultra-protective - all this despite looking like trainers!

Negatives

Check your sizing. As well as having a reputation for premium quality and stylish products, Dainese also can be quite stingy when it comes to sizing on the larger end of the scale. Dainese has produced a stylish, ultra-comfortable boot that has the added bonus of being fully waterproof and protective! Just bear in mind that you may need to try the larger sizes on!
