Joe Collier 2019Joe Collier

Hello and welcome to Alex's Blog,

J&S Accessories Ltd are supporting a select
few racers for the 2019 season ahead - we wanted to get to know our riders a bit better and thought we would share their answers to our questions with you!
Enjoy!

Name: Joe Collier

Age: 24

From: Leicestershire

Social media handle/s: Facebook - JoeCollierRacing Twitter - JoeCollier111

2019 racing championship: National Superstock 1000

Previous race experience: Motocross, several Stock classes and Supersport

Racing number (or how you picked it): 11 - I was always 111 in motocross, but it works well with my name

Any superstition? I have a routine when I'm getting into my leathers/boots etc before a race  and wouldn't like that to change.

First win? I can't remember the first ever one as started racing at 6, but last year was a big year for me so I loved my first win in Stock 1000 at Snetterton

First racing memory? My first ever race on a motocross bike, getting a podium and coming away with a 3rd place trophy

Any racing heroes when you were younger? Didn't really have one

How did you get in to racing? It's something my dad wanted me to do and I loved it

Do you ride on the road? No, not got a licence

Favourite piece of kit? Frank Thomas D-Air Suit

Favourite race track? Oulton Park

Hobbies outside of racing? Motocross, Trials Riding

Occupation outside of racing? Electrician

Aspirations in racing? To become a British Superbike champion

Any other thing you want to say? Thanks to J&S and Christiano for backing me again and putting me in the best suits money can buy!

Our pleasure Joe!

2019 is Joe's second year with support from J&S Accessories Ltd. Joe wears a made-to-measure Frank Thomas D-Air Leather racing suit. In wet races Joe wears a Frank Thomas Rainmaster Jacket.
