Good, Better, Best

Hello and welcome to Alex's Blog. This week I wanted to look at different options you have when buying motorcycle kit and the differences between the good, better or best options of each! Obviously you do get what you pay for but I do think you will be surprised with how much the good options have to offer. Here are some examples of our best sellers and the breadth of options you have for every kind of budget.
First up boots:
Good:
The Frank Thomas Shorty Boots MXW-010 are a budget short styled boot with a great price of only £69.99. These are one of our best sellers in store and online and with the casual styling, moisture wicking lining and gear change reinforcement you can see why.
Better:
At £119.99 the BKS Storm Waterproof Boots are obviously more expensive but with that comes a waterproof lining, a comfort inner boot for fantastic fit as well as double gear change reinforcement and non-slip sole.
Best:
Bang on an extra £100 and the TCX S-Speed Goretex Boots offer a Gore-Tex 100% waterproof breathable membrane (amazing for the British summer) and sports styling (with toe-sliders included) but with touring comfort. These, at the opposite end of the scale, are also a J&S Accessories Ltd best seller and you can see why.
On to gloves:
Good:
BKS Fury Short Black Gloves are a racing style glove with perforation and added protection throughout. The shorter styling means they are extremely comfortable as well as being lightweight. At only £49.99 you can't go wrong with these.
Better:
The IXS Adventure Gloves in black are, in contrast, a touring style glove with a SoltoTex waterproof and breathable liner, tri-fleece lining for added comfort and warmth and they even have touch screen ready finger tips!
Best:
The Richa Cold Protect Black Goretex Gloves offer the best of both worlds - leather and textile mix with a sporty-touring styling. These offer a Gore-Tex 100% waterproof and breathable membrane as well as added protection throughout and these are CE certified.
Now to helmets:
Good:
For £44.99 the Box BX-1 Helmet in Matt Black offers a lightweight shell, full ventilation system and removable noseguard for a fantastic price.
Better:
Mid price helmets don't get much better than this. The AGV K3 SV Helmet Bulega has an internal sun visor, is ACU Gold approved for track days and is extremely lightweight with a full ventilation system and removable (and washable) lining. At £189.99 there is no wonder this is a best seller for us.
Best:
As Arais go this is quite a cheap model. The Arai Axces III Helmet in Frost Black offers all the premium quality you'd expect from an Arai with wider visor apeture, and extremely lightwight Superfibe construction. The Frost Black is an extremely popular model.
