Cardo PackTalk Shoei Adaptor Black
The adaptor plate didn’t fit the Cardo Spirit mounting , I have a Shoei Air 2 & looking on the internet & the instructions it was supposed to just clip on , it didn’t so ended up cutting off the lugs and sticking on the mounting plate that came with the Spirit , seems secure but thinking on it could of saved £20 and just stuck it to the plastic side cover on the helmet

I think for what it is £19.99 is a little expensive but I paid £480 for a packtalk edge duo so as a percentage of that I suppose it isn't that bad. Er, no, it's still expensive and if I'm honest a little unnecessary. There are two ways to fix the Cardo unit to the helmet in the box one of which would do the job well. This item replaces an attachment on the side of the helmet but you still use a sticky pad to fix the adapter to the helmet. It fixes easily and looks ok - any better than the included sticky pad attachment, probably not. A small annoyance (other than the price) there is no alcohol wipe aso you have to use one out of the Packtalk Edge box. So, in summary £19.99 for a plastic attachment which isn't really necessary and no alcohol wipe but fits easily.
