Safety

The Frank Thomas Worker leather motorcycle gloves are CE certified with hard armour at the knuckles and a premium leather construction. Double layer leather at the palms provides added impact resistance along with double stitching throughout for burst prevention.

Styling

Available in a choice of unique colourways (grey, brown, oxblood red and green), the Worker gloves offer a simple and muted look - a plain glove with subtle branding. The beauty of a simple design is its versatility - these could be touring, cruiser, cafe racer, or retro - they go with various styles. In addition, the hard knuckles are hidden, adding to the simplicity of their aesthetic. Even the closure system is simple - yet effective - much like these gloves!

Comfort

Outstitched seams provide superior comfort, and the leather is exceptionally supple for highly comfortable wear. The Worker gloves are lightweight with a thin lining for superior comfort in warmer weather. Elasticated detailing at the wrist gives a great fit with ease of entry, exit and freedom of movement, and a strap with a popper button gives secure but adjustable closure.

Practicality

For the Summer and Spring, the Frank Thomas Worker gloves are ideal. Put them on, go on the bike and have a great time. Comfortable, lightweight, yet protective. For Winter and colder weather, they aren't the most practical gloves - their simplicity which is a massive strong point, also has its weaknesses. As the glove is so simple in design, which gives them versatility for differing styling, the Worker gloves do not benefit from complicated thermal or weather protection. What you see is what you get - so these are definitely not a practical glove for all year round. Yes, you can pair them with inner gloves or even outer gloves - but on their own, they are not the most practical for weather protection.

Negatives

As above, the worker gloves are not waterproof nor warm - you need another glove or an inner glove and outer glove for this! Despite their CE certification, the Worker gloves are not sports gloves - they do not have the extra protection needed for track days at extra speeds - the only armour on the worker gloves is the knuckle protectors.

Verdict

A comfortable, protective, lightweight leather glove with a simple design - giving fantastic versatility with an unusual array of colours at a great price - just don't expect them to be all-season gloves.
