The IXS RS-400 ST textile motorcycle jacket is made from highly durable yet lightweight 600D Polyoxford. Reflective transfer prints maximise night visibility for added safety and CE certified level 1 armour at the shoulders and elbows plus a pocket for a back protector (sold separately) provide impact resistance. The differing colourways are bright - be safe, be seen!

Styling

The shorter sporty styling looks great. It is available in a choice of colours , specifically red and black , orange and black , green and black and yellow and black . Reflective detailing is used as part of the graphics thus not distracting from the sporty aesthetic. The contrasting bright colours against the black background give an eye-catching look and will certainly make sure you will be seen! Safety first!

Comfort

The RS-400-ST, despite looking sporty, offers touring comfort. It is fully waterproof thanks to a Solto-Tex Z-Liner membrane with a removable padded thermal lining for versatility in all weathers. The CE certified armour is lightweight, as is the textile outer for superior comfort on the bike. Accordion detailing allows for fantastic freedom of movement in the riding position. Adjustability at the collar, cuffs and waist allow for a personalised fit for superior comfort.

Practicality

The RS-400 ST is fully waterproof thanks to the SoltoTex Z liner membrane as well as an antiseptic mesh lining with a water barrier. The RS-400 ST is highly versatile for all weather due to a detachable padded polyester Thermo lining as well as 4 ventilation openings. Adjustable elbow and upper arm width and hip regulation give the perfect fit. This has 2 outside pockets, and 3 inside pockets at the fixed lining. The rear is lengthened to prevent wind ingress.

Negatives

The length is not for everyone, but you would know that before buying. The colours are also not for everyone, but at this price could you resist? Both of these negatives are very tenuous but the best we could come up with!
