Safety

The RST Paragon II WP CE 1568 motorcycle boot is CE approved to CE certification EN13634 for added peace of mind. It offers PU shin, ankle and heel protectors, moulded anti-twist midsole, gear change toe pad and a vulcanised anti-slip rubber sole. Seams are double stitched for optimum impact resistance, and the closure system features a zip and Velcro for security.

Styling

Despite being a touring boot with touring features, the look is decidedly sporty - mainly thanks to the sole. The protectors also provide a sporty look. It is black and only black, but subtle reflective detailing allows night visibility without detracting from the refined black design. It is a mid-calf length which looks great and makes it easy to wear with all styles of trousers.

Comfort

Our resident boot expert here at J&S HQ reckons that the Paragon II WP boots are incredibly comfortable thanks to their extensive flexibility, making them highly comfortable on the bike and while walking. He also recommends trying them on - they may look unassuming, but the comfort waiting for you when you try them on makes them a must-have! In addition, the Sinaqua waterproof membrane is fully breathable to prevent sweating and give superior comfort.

Practicality

The Paragon II WP boots are fully waterproof thanks to the SinAqua breathable membrane - ideal for British weather! Gear change reinforcement pads on each boot is another practical feature and an anti-slip sole. The closure zip is located on the inner leg and is covered entirely with a Velcro flap for a personalised, versatile, and secure fit. Extensive accordion detailing offers excellent freedom of movement for comfort on and off the bike.

Negatives

The zips, due to where they are and the shape can burst - this is very much not a common problem but it has been known. Aside from that minor (and easily fixable) detail there really isn't a lot of negatives to this boot!

Verdict
