Safety

All motorcycle helmets need to pass the same safety standards for roadworthiness – the ECE 22.05 approval. The V121 attained these standards and is made from ultra-durable polycarbonate. The micro-ratchet retention system is highly secure while also being easy to use.

Styling

Although this model is only available in plain colourways, the shell of the V121 has an aggressive aerodynamic shape for sports touring styling. It also features streamlined lines and a muted ventilation system not to impede the aesthetics of the simple design.

Comfort

Inside the V121 is a fully removable and washable plush comfort lining. A three-stage Air-Flo ventilation system provides advanced air-circulation that can be fully personalised. As the shell is so streamlined and lightweight, the V121 is a comfortable helmet to wear and prevents neck strain. 

Practicality

The visor is anti-fog and anti-scratch treated and offers a quick-release mechanism for an easy and rapid change. The ventilation system is easily changed but also quickly closed to prevent weather ingress. The micro-ratchet strap gives variable sizing and is extremely simple to use. A nose guard means the breath is deflected to avoid your visor fogging up.

Negatives

The colour choices available in this helmet leave a lot to be desired, plus there is no internal sun visor. The visor is also not Pinlock insert-ready. 

Verdict

A tremendous entry-level helmet for the money. The look and feel of the Stealth V121 is one of much more than the £39.99 price tag. Little extras such as the nose guard and the plush lining give a more luxe feel.
