Base Layers
Hello and welcome to Alex's Blog! It's getting to late September now and the weather seems to be getting back to normal ie cold. With this in mind I thought I would go through different ways to keep warm in this Autumn chill without going to the expense of replacing all of your outer wear.
The answer to this is base layers. Base layers have come a long way from what they used to be. They used to be bulky, itchy and extremely uncomfortable so they weren't everyone's ideal solution, but base layers now are so lightweight and often wick and breathe to keep your temperature constant. This has increased their popularity and mean that a lot of bikers wear them all year round. Here is a round up of just a small selection of what we have to offer here at J&S Accessories Ltd:
EDZ All Climate Boot Socks Grey
EDZ all climate boot socks are, unsurprisingly, suitable for all climates! Constructed from wool and performance yarns these offer optimum performance and durability with loop pile padding for added comfort plus these wick and breathe to absorb moisture making for a more comfortable wear! The EDZ Lightweight Thermal Neck Warmer is constructed from soft 165gm Microfleece which is thin but warm enough for the job and long enough to pull over your nose and ears while still keeping your neck covered. This offers low bulk, is breathable while also insulating, wicks and dissipates moisture and is hard wearing, washable and dries fast.
Neck warmer for cold conditions. 300 gram micro-fleece, flat seam and performance Lycra edging. Ideal for all types of outdoor activities, skiing, snowboarding, motorcycling, walking the dog, etc.
The EDZ Multi Tube is a 50 cm long tube that is nice and light and extremely comfortable to wear. This will wick moisture in the Summer and keep you warm in the Winter. This is extremely versatile and folds into a hat, bandana, skull cap, head band etc. and is made from EDZ All Climate Base Layer material that can be worn across a wide range of temperatures. Suitable for all types of outdoor sports and activities. Available in different colours and prints. Ideal for under your helmet as its very light and thin.
EDZ Windproof Necktube. Neck tube made from micro-fleece and breathable laminate. Single layer of fleece over mouth for easy respiration and breathable back panel for extra comfort.
The EDZ Helmet liner is ideal for motorcycle helmets. If you don't like putting your head into a soggy helmet these are a worthwhile investment and they help keep your helmet clean. Sports base layer wicking fabric wicks away moisture cools and insulates so they keep your head cool in summer but warm in winter and this is very lightweight and thin so you won?t feel a difference. A worthwhile investment! This is also machine washable and quick-drying!

EDZ 150g Merino clothing is constructed from 100% superfine merino wool and is soft next to the skin and highly comfortable to wear. This luxurious clothing is actually easy to care for and machine washable. These also offer flat seams and are extremely lightweight.
Constructed from thin microfleece the EDZ light thermal balaclava is lightweight but thermal without being bulky. This features a three panel design, flat seams for a comfortable fit, a long neck and is constructed from 165gsm micro-fleece.

The EDZ Silk liner gloves are thin enough to wear under outer gloves or can be used on their own. The perfect under layer for all year round!
