Due to the stringent AGV Extreme Safety design protocol, the AGV K6-S passes all tests required by the ECE22.06 standard by a large margin, making the helmet 36% safer than the levels required for the latest road homologations. The aerodynamic shapes developed in AGV's wind tunnel are optimised for ideal aerodynamics and reduced turbulence. The spoiler reduces air resistance and limits buffeting at cruising speeds. The premium interiors are waterproof and ventilated. They are designed to let riders cover endless miles in total comfort, with only the road ahead to focus on. Made from Microsense, Shalimar fabric, Ritmo and DrySpeed, it gives instant sweat absorption and premium comfort. The interior is fully removable and washable, with AGV's safety-release system cheek pads for superior safety. The K6-S has an embracing neck roll profile made from Ritmo fabric and synthetic leather with high abrasion resistance and water-resistant properties. Glasses grooves allow easy use while wearing glasses, and the design includes a removable nose guard and is compatible with the AGV ARK communication system. Innovative air vents on the forehead and chin guard (five air inlets) are designed for easy adjustment, even when wearing gloves, ensuring the rider always has proper ventilation. The large, comfortable interior of the chin guard is designed to maximise ventilation when the vents are open. The K6-S also features a wide rear extractor for superior air circulation. Reflective inserts maximise visibility, and a wind protector prevents fogging up. The anti-scratch, Class 1, clear visor is Pinlock-ready, and the K6-S includes a 100% Max Vision Pinlock (120). The wider aperture provides a 190-degree horizontal and 85-degree vertical field of view for maximum visibility and safety. The metal visor mechanism is ultra-durable and boasts a micro-opening system with a multistep visor mechanism for convenience. The AGV K6-S also features AGV's patented Extra Quick Release System and its patented, proven visor lock system. The double D closure is ultra-secure and adjustable for the perfect custom fit.
