Built for road and adventure riding, the Akito Adventure motorcycle helmet offers fantastic touring features with an adventure shell. The aggressively shaped shell provides exceptional aerodynamics for a truly comfortable ride with the neck shaped to prevent head buffering. An adjustable peak provides shade along with a retractable sun visor with an easy-to-use button at the base of the helmet for ease of use whilst wearing motorcycle gloves. The clear anti-scratch visor allows for optimum vision thanks to the wide aperture for superior peripheral vision. An emergency pull system lining gives easy access to emergency services should the worst happen, while the lining is mesh-lined for exceptional comfort. A removable wind deflector allows versatility for all conditions, and a micrometric quick-release closure system provides a secure and adjustable closure. A sophisticated ventilation system with three chin cents and two forehead vents with rear exhausts promotes excellent air circulation for superior comfort. The Akito Adventure also features ECE R22-06 certification. Also available in a choice of colours and designs - this is the plain gloss white. The Pinlock DKS166 insert fits this helmet.

New helmet arrived fast even though it was ordered over the easter weekend. Helmet is exactly as described, it is light weight yet durable with a snug fit. The visor allows for good visibility both with or without the sun visor and the vents work well (which will be put to the test in summer). And finally the most important thing, they are glasses friendly! Thanks to the little slots i dont have to spend 10 minutes fighting to get my glasses on!

Front vent seems to allow full airflow whether vent is closed or not. Though, this will be lovely in the summer it means extra chilly lips and nose now (FEB '24). But over all I do very much like the helmet - comfy, good quality for the price. Good protection from engine noise too.

Just been out first time using the helmet on my Tiger 800 in almost sub zero conditions. Exactly what I expected, peak is great for keeping low sun out of your eyes. A little more wind noise compared to a 'normal' helmet but that was to be expected. Only issue I could find is when visor is fully up it 'hides' under the peak and can be fiddly to get back down but just needs a little practice.
