The Alpinestars A-Connect Intercom System is built for racing and sport riders using the S-R7 helmet. This integrated communication system delivers clear group coordination and uninterrupted long-distance connection through seamless Mesh 3.0 and WAVE switching, even at speed. Mesh 3.0 delivers stable rider-to-rider communication over up to 2 km in open terrain and supports virtually unlimited participants in open or private groups. WAVE uses cellular connectivity for long-distance communication and automatically switches from Mesh when riders spread out, helping keep the group connected over greater distances. Bluetooth 5.3 enables broad intercom compatibility with other brands while supporting wireless audio for music, GPS guidance, and phone calls. AI-powered noise cancellation reduces ambient noise and echo in real time, keeping speech clearer in wind, traffic, and high-speed riding conditions. Second-generation premium Harman Kardon audio with 40 mm high-resolution speakers delivers richer, more detailed sound for communication, navigation prompts, and entertainment. The dual-core CPU provides fast processing and dependable system stability for responsive performance across demanding riding environments. It also offers an IPX5 waterproof rating, helping the system operate reliably in rain and variable weather for all-season use. Another handy feature is auto standby and quick charge, which optimises everyday convenience with up to 20 hours of talk time and a full recharge in approximately 2.5 hours. Enhanced voice commands allow hands-free control of calls, music, navigation, and intercom functions so you can stay focused on the ride. It is purpose-built to fit the Alpinestars S-R7 helmet perfectly for minimal intrusion and maximum convenience and use. It has an integrated 4-key control unit and status LED. A high-fidelity wired microphone is supplied with a dedicated Velcro mounting pad for fixed integration inside the helmet interior. Installation hardware includes Velcro speaker pads and double-sided adhesive tape to secure the communication components within the helmet structure - very easy to fit. The unit uses a USB-C quick-charge interface.
