The Alpinestars Austral GTX shoes offer a streamlined hi-top design for a fashionable look with key features that offer outstanding protection. A Gore-Tex liner delivers proven all-weather performance, remaining waterproof and highly breathable. PrimaLoft is strategically positioned between the upper and the lining to provide optimum insulation levels on the forefoot and toe areas. Constructed from ultra-lightweight, durable and abrasion-resistant microfibre, the Austral boots are CE-certified to EN 13634:2017. Dual-density ankle protectors are strategically positioned between the upper and padded lining to provide strategic protection in key areas, while TPU heel counters give additional support and protection. Internal toe box reinforcements layered beneath the upper give a streamlined, ergonomic design. A unique compound rubber sole provides a textured grip and excellent absorption and features an integrated support shank for enhanced sole rigidity. The sports sole design incorporates a high-flex inner structure (lasting insole) for superior walking comfort and a removable anatomic EVA footbed with Lycra lining. The Austral GTX offers an asymmetric toe design strategically positioned in the gearchange area for additional coverage and protection. The traditional lace closure system gives a quick, easy, secure, and comfortable fit, with a lateral adjustable hook and loop closure system for enhanced security and precision.
