Founded in 1963, Alpinestars developed the first motocross boot in 1965. Development continued at pace, with the company producing boots for all forms of motorcycling, road and off-road, competitive use and leisure; they then graduated to all clothing, too and continue to this day, to be at the forefront of motocross clothing technology and development. The Alpinestars Bogota Pro Drystar motorcycle jacket features DWR (Durable Water Repellant) treatment for effective all-weather performance and superior comfort in any weather conditions, ensuring the outer layer stays dry always. CE certified to Category II EN17092 AA Class, the Bogota Pro Drystar jacket also features a durable yet lightweight 600D main shell with a reinforced 2-L-450D hard outer shell with 600D woven reinforcements and CE Level 2 Nucleon Flex Pro shoulder and elbow armour. It is Alpinestars Tech-Air Ready (sold separately) and ergonomically designed for true comfort in all riding positions. The Bogotá Pro has extensive ventilation panels on the chest, full back, and arms with a unique sleeve vent construction and wide mesh panel for effective climate control in any conditions, and the direct ventilation panels on the chest and arms can be operated with one hand for fast and effective climate control on the go. A detachable 100g body and 60g full sleeve thermal liner allow the jacket to be configured to cooler conditions too. An innovative and adjustable collar self-centring snap closure gives the perfect fit, while Velcro on the inner keeps it in an open position in warmer conditions for maximum airflow. Intuitive zip placements, connectors and designs give a versatile jacket for use in all riding conditions for maximum comfort and year-round use! Extensive stretch inserts provide excellent freedom of movement, and many easy-to-access pockets allow for the safe storage of valuables. The Alpinestars Bogota Pro Drystar jacket also offers a technical Drystar waterproof lining that is fully breathable. It is also constructed using 100% GRS-certified recycled Nylon 6 materials. The matching Bogotá Pro Drystar four-season pants are designed to provide optimal protection, weather performance and comfort. Laminated Drystar lining is fully waterproof and breathable, while DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment on the outer shell gives double water protection. The tailored, ergonomic fit adapts to all riding movements. The Bogotá features large, direct thigh vents for effective climate control in changing weather conditions. The pants are made of lightweight micro ripstop and 600D poly fabric for enhanced durability. They are equipped with Level 2 Nucleon Flex Pro knee protectors and Bio-Flex hip protectors for effective protection against impacts. The inner lining of the pants is designed for adventure riding and features a waterproof Drystar Mission that can be worn either inside or over the pants. Made from ultra-durable Ripstop and 450D coated outer shell made from 100% GRS recycled nylon six material, it provides lightweight and enhanced durability with 600D reinforcements for added durability in key areas.
