At the shoulder, over-moulded advanced TPU guard protection layered under the outer fabric for optimised levels of protection and comfort, chest and back pad compartments with PE padding (Alpinestars Nucleon chest and back protection inserts available as accessory upgrade) and size-adjustable snap-button system to integrate the Level 2 CE certified Alpinestars Nucleon Back protector. The GP Plus R V2 jacket also offers extensive advanced poly stretch inserts on the chest, underarm and rear shoulders for an excellent fit optimised for all riding styles. This also helps keep the jacket sleeves positioned close to the rider's body. In addition, extensive accordion leather stretch panels above elbow areas allow a more excellent range of movement and help reduce arm fatigue. Also, perforated padded panels integrated into the main shell and sleeves give an improved fit, and a pre-curved sleeve construction helps reduce riding fatigue and prevent material bunching. A combination snap button and zip wrist closures provide a secure and customised fit and Velcro and D-ring waist adjustments for the perfect fit. In addition, it also offers zipped ventilation inlets on the shoulders to allow efficient regulation of interior temperature. A soft 3D mesh collar plus 3D mesh cuff edging gives improved comfort and breathability, mesh liner for improved breathability, comfort and ventilation. External, large-opening front zipped hand pockets provide peace-of-mind closure.
