Founded in 1963, Alpinestars developed the first motocross boot in 1965. Development continued at pace, with the company producing boots for all forms of motorcycling, road and off-road, competitive use and leisure; they then graduated to all clothing and continue, to this day, to be at the forefront of motocross clothing technology and development. The Alpinestars Halo Drystar motorcycle jacket features a highly durable textile shell with an asymmetric main zip fully CE-Certified to Class AA (class A without sleeves). The Halo Drystar jacket is truly versatile - it comes with a waterproof and breathable Drystar rain jacket that can be stowed in the rear pocket easily but can also be worn OVER or UNDER the jacket - whichever you prefer! The removable outer sleeve shell exposes air mesh panels for superior airflow, and fully foldable full mesh front and rear ventilation panels promote exceptional air circulation. CE Certified Nucleon Flex Pro armour at the shoulders and elbows gives superior impact protection. This is Tech-Air compatible and can accommodate the Tech-Air 5 airbag system (sold separately). PU reinforcements at the shoulders provide added durability, which also features a pocket for a back protector (sold separately). The collar is ultra-soft for superior comfort, and this offers a plethora of pockets for storage. Stretch cuffs and multi-adjustment points provide the perfect personalised fit. The matching pants are multi-season adventure touring pants with an innovative technical outer layer. CE Certified to Class AA; the Halo Drystar features a Drystar 100% waterproof and breathable liner that is fully removable and compact for ease of transportation when not in use - in addition, the Drystar membrane can be worn under OR over the pants for exceptional versatility. Foldable ventilation panels efficiently distribute airflow, and a detachable brace/shoulder belt keeps the pants in position. CE Nucleon Flex Pro armour at the knees provides impact resistance alongside leather knee inserts for added durability and reinforcement in vulnerable areas. Ergonomic cargo pockets with a membrane provide safe storage, and added stretch in key areas provides excellent freedom of movement for enhanced comfort on and off the bike. Adjustability at the waist and lower leg allows for a personalised fit.
