The Alpinestars Hyde XT Drystar XF jacket is a fully CE-certified motorcycling garment for CE—Category II EN 17092-5:2020 – B Class abrasion. It has a CE Level 1 Nucleon Flex Plus internal impact protection jacket for Category II EN 17092-6:2020 – C Class Impact. It is Alpinestars Tech-Air airbag ready and is made from an abrasion-resistant monolayer stretch shell with Ripstop reinforcement. Made for heavy off-road and dual sport riding, it has an ultra-lightweight four-way stretch single-layer waterproof outer shell with four-way stretch throughout for excellent freedom of movement. As the name suggests, the Hyde XT has a waterproof laminated DrystarXF (XF for extra flow) and a highly breathable membrane for excellent wet weather performance. The DrystarXF prevents water penetration and keeps the jacket from waterlogging while remaining breathable. The Hyde XT also offers versatility for warmer weather thanks to long direct ventilation ports on each side at the front and back with zipped air scoops on the forearms and Alpinestars Auper-airflow panel on the front zip opening for superior ventilation and breathability. The detachable armoured inner mesh jacket also keeps you fresh (with Alpinestars NJucleon Flex Plus CE level 1 armour). The inner armoured jacket offers a design that fits close to the body for maximum protection - the closer the armour fits to the body, the safer it is. Added flexibility gives excellent freedom of movement, but the armour stays in place. This is fully removable, so the outer can be worn as a casual-style outer jacket.
