The Alpinestars SP-5 motorcycle gloves offer a premium full-grain leather construction with rugged polymer knuckle protectors. High-performance synthetic leather and perforated goatskin give optimum levels of comfort, durability and cooling airflow. Microfibre and PU at the palms and thumbs provide excellent grip control and durability. Alpinestars’ exclusive ergonomic stretch insert between the palm and thumb offers an improved range of hand movement and greater sensitivity while operating the bike controls. Alpinestars’ patented third and fourth finger bridge prevents seam failure and finger separation in the event of a slide. The palm and fingers are padded with energy-absorbing EVA foam for additional protection with ergonomically profiled synthetic suede reinforcements on the pinky sidewall to provide maximum abrasion resistance in the key impact zone. Pre-curved finger construction reduces rider fatigue while offering excellent comfort and fit, and a Velcro wrist adjuster and wide Velcro strap on the cuff provide a secure and adjusted closure. The SP-5 gloves also feature a touchscreen-compatible index fingertip that allows the use of smartphone and GPS systems.
