A one-piece injected dual compound shell with injected rigid toe protector and integrated steel shank - highly protective against impact. It is CE-certified and promotes core stability and flex thanks to a biomechanical pivot with excellent protection throughout. The chassis allows optimum bike control interaction, while an innovative buckle system allows easy and precise closure. A Microfibre upper is ultra-flexible, abrasion-resistant and ultra-lightweight for superior comfort - furthermore, it is easy to clean and maintain. Soft foam reinforcement in key areas allows for additional shock absorption and comfort. The counted calf protector plate is injected with high-modulus polymer. It incorporates Alpinestars' developed blade flex system for fantastic precision and movement and added protection at the heel and Achilles to prevent hyperflexion. The TPU ankle system provides progressive force relief for torsional forces. The innovative buckle closure system includes high-impact aluminium bridge closures with memory settings and a quick release/locking system with a self-aligning design for easy, precise closure and improved riding performance. All buckles are replaceable. The redesigned instep and Achilles accordion flex zones allow excellent movement for superior comfort on and off the bike. An extended microfibre gaiter helps prevent excessive water and dirt entry, and the internal lining includes anti-slide microfibre suede on the heel to help keep the foot in position.
