Back in 1954 Bell founder Roy Richter formed his first helmet out of fibreglass and named it the 500. Bell's Custom 500 pays homage to Richter's original design while adding modern protective technology to bring the design up-to-date. The Bell Custom 500 has that great pedigree and originality but with all the modern touches you would expect from a manufacturer like Bell. The Bell Custom 500 is DOT and ECE 22.05 safety rated, has a fibreglass composite shell, padded chin strap and a quilted antibacterial comfort liner. It features the integrated 5-snap pattern for aftermarket visors (sold separately) and is available in a choice of colours and designs.
