The Fly Racing FR5 boots are CE-approved to EN13634:2015 and offer protection throughout for outstanding safety. The 3D moulded plastic gear change panel has added grooves and texture, which also saves the boot from premature wear. A TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) heel piece connects with lateral/medial TPU pieces for full coverage, and pre-shaped moulded plastic 3D shins add impact resistance and comfort. Soft interior foam surrounds the ankle and collar for superior protection, and a contoured TPU calf plate adds to the protection. The FR5 innovative one-piece plastic injected fishtail midsole and moulded outsole provide a modern, stylish look and help to keep the weight down and grip high. The outsole rubber compound provides good levels of grip while remaining durable, and the padded microfibre gaiter provides a comfortable rim around the calf that seals the opening from debris. Bio-mechanical pivots on the inside and outside of the ankle give increased stability and support, and a rubber heat shield is long-lasting, won't melt, and provides a good grip. The adjustable aluminium quick-lock buckles provide a solid locked-in feel, and the open design keeps dirt from clogging the function. The full textile lining keeps you ultra-comfortable. Available in a choice of colours.
