Designed with MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) and Fox Racing's own MVRS System (Magnetic Visor Release System) (hence the RS), the V3 RS off-road helmet is the most technologically advanced MX helmet on the market. MIPS is impact technology that manages rotational forces on impact, adding a low-friction layer between the helmet and head - combine this with the dual-density Varizorb EPS liner that spreads the force of impact across a wider surface area, and you get a level of protection unsurpassed in any other motocross helmet. The MVRS positions the visor with a centre post magnet and two side shear-off screws, which allows the visor to flex under impact before breaking away, giving additional rotational impact management. The V3 RS features an MCT (Multi Composite Technology) Shell, which blends Carbon and FRP resins for an ultra-lightweight yet ultra-durable shell. It offers four shell and EPS sizes for exceptional aerodynamics and comfort for all dead sizes. The EPP chin bar maintains lower weight while managing energy during impact. The EPS is compatible with the Eject Helmet Removal System for optimum safety during a crash. The X-Static comfort liner is antimicrobial, contains odours by wicking moisture away from the skin, and is removable and washable to keep you fresh. Injected mesh vent screens give superior ventilation and exceptional airflow yet protect from dirt and debris ingress. Carbon fibre double D rings provide an ultra-secure closure system.
