The IXS Markab Textile Motorcycle Jacket is constructed from 330 Denier Hitena and features a SoltoTex 2 layer laminate for waterproof protection, antiseptic plyester mesh lining with water barrier, inner labyrinth seal, comfort collar, ergonomically shapes sleeves, individually adjustable sleeves ends, thermal lining, waistband adjuster, water resistant zips, back reflectors for added visibility, CE certified shoulder and elbow protectors, TecnoFoam back padding (CE upgradeable) 2 outside pockets and 2 inside pockets, connecting zip and smoothly sealed seams by Seamless Technology. This is the pioneering ultrasound welding method by IXS. The individual clothing components are not sewn during the new method but are joined together with a hot adhesive tape and high-tensile welded with ultrasound afterwards. In addition to wearing comfort and safety, the advantages of the new method also pertain to the workmanship and creation the actual seam is not noticeable due to the overlapping layers of fabric so pressure points with conventional seams are eliminated. Extensive abrasion tests have proven that in contrast to conventional seams, welded seams offer better protection against ripping.
