The Knox Shield hoodie is a CE-approved Class AAA garment under the CE standard EN17092 and features Knox's new MICRO-LOCK Compact armour in the shoulders, elbows and back, keeping the hoodie light and more flexible with low profile shoulder and elbows – CE EN 1621-2 Level 1 and a full CE approved Back protector – EN 1621 -2 Level 2. Made from Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) fibres, known for their high strength, abrasion resistance and durability, and a mix of elastane and other fibres for superior stretch, flexibility and comfort, the Shield hoodie boasts YKK zips throughout. The hood is lined with soft cotton for added comfort and soft stretch cuffs and base. Thumb loops give added security, and this has two exterior zipped pockets with soft zip pulls and an extra visor wipe included in one pocket and two internal low-profile pockets. An interior ear plus and mobile phone pocket is a handy addition, along with a subtle reflective print for night visibility that does not distract from the casual urban design. The security belt loop system on the inside ensures riders can secure to jeans, and this is machine washable - just remove the armour! Also available in a women's version.
