I've been using this product for a few years now. It can act as a deterrent to most opportunist thieves, but unfortunately is as useful as the steering lock installed on a bike. My motorcycle was recently stolen, even with the disc lock on and alarmed the thieves were able to roll my bike away within a matter of minutes. All that was left was the disc lock shattered on the floor. This incident that was caught on CCTV just showed that this security device did not slow down the thieves whatsoever. Which is why I would not buy this product again.
