The Nolan N100 Classic flip-front motorcycle helmet is dual-P/J homologated, meaning it can be used safely in either the open or closed position. The clever design ensures the snug-fitting chin bar hugs the outer shell, reducing drag and wind resistance when in the open position. A dual guard chin guard opening system provides ease of use, with chin guard rotation on an elliptical trajectory. An outer shell made from Lexan, a polycarbonate resin thermoplastic with superior impact strength, is used in bullet-resistant 'glass'! The new N100 shell is more compact than its predecessor, the N104, with better aerodynamics and a lower weight. Nolan's exclusive Air-Booster technology system features two large intake vents that force cool air into the most critical areas and two exhaust vents that dispel warm, moist air, ensuring optimal ventilation. Internally, the EPS liner is fixed to the outer shell, improving safety and eliminating the creaking sound often heard with modular helmets. The large viewport features a scratch-resistant clear visor for increased peripheral vision, an anti-fog Pinlock insert, and an internal drop-down sun visor with an automatic retraction system. The improved, larger chin curtain and adjustable neck roll keep out wind and road noise for enhanced comfort. The retention strap has the patented Microlock2 system, a double lever retention system with a micrometric adjustment, which prevents unintentional or accidental opening of the chinstrap.
