The Nolan N100 Classico flip-front motorcycle helmet offers dual P/J homologation, meaning it can be used safely in the open or closed position. The clever design ensures that the snug-fitting chin bar hugs the outer shell for less drag and wind resistance when it is in the open position. A dual guard chin guard opening system gives ease of use with a chin guard rotation with an elliptical trajectory. With an outer shell made from Lexan, a polycarbonate resin thermoplastic with superior impact strength is used in bullet-resistant 'glass'! The new N100 shell is more compact than its predecessor, the N104, with better aerodynamics and a lower weight. Nolan's exclusive Air-Booster technology system with two large intake vents forcing cool air into the most critical areas and two exhaust vents to dispel the warm, moist air ensures optimal ventilation. Internally, the inner impact absorption EPS liner is fixed to the outer shell, improving safety and eliminating that creaking sound often heard with modular helmets. The large viewport has a scratch-resistant clear visor for increased peripheral vision, an anti-fog Pinlock insert, and the internal drop-down sun visor has an automatic retraction system. The improved, larger chin curtain and adjustable neck roll keep out wind and road noise for enhanced comfort. The retention strap has the patented Microlock2 system, a double lever retention system with a micrometric adjustment which prevents unintentional or accidental opening of the chinstrap. The N100 offers N-Com predisposition and is compatible with the M951 R series, B902L R series, B902 R series, B602 R series, B101 R series and the ESS III. ECE 22.06 certified and made in Italy.
