The Schuberth J2 open-face is the latest evolution of the J1, the M1 and M1 Pro. It is ECE 22.06 homologated, made from the patented Direct Fibre Processing technology, and reinforced with carbon fibre. This advanced technology enables the J2 to achieve remarkable shock absorption in a compact and lightweight design. Additionally, the J2 incorporates the Anti-Roll-Off System (AROS) for improved stability and safety. The J2 comes equipped with a removable chin bar, the only one of its kind. The low-profile design of the chin bar has been developed to offer additional protection without compromising aerodynamics and aeroacoustics performance. Whether on your daily commutes or your weekend trips, the J2 provides the flexibility to adapt. Attach the chin bar for additional chin protection, or remove it to enjoy the freedom of an open-face helmet. Throughout the development of the J2, Schuberth engineers and test riders dedicated countless hours on the road and in a wind tunnel, fine-tuning the design of the helmet. This resulted in a low-resistance helmet shell and an innovative neck roll that ensures a perfect seal at the base of the helmet. Those improvements have achieved an outstanding noise level of just 88 dB(A) at 100 km/h on a naked bike, making the J2 the quietest open-face helmet on the market. The J2 is pre-wired for seamless integration with Schuberth's state-of-the-art communication systems. Choose from three different plug-and-play options: the SC2 and SC2 Standard powered by SENA or the SC Edge powered by CARDO. As with the rest of the range, the J2 features three pre-installed antennas for FM Radio, Bluetooth, and Mesh Intercom, along with HD speakers for crystal clear communication and sound quality. Installation is ultra-easy. The visor of the J2 has been designed to optimise both aerodynamic and aeroacoustic performances. A double line of turbolators, positioned at the top and bottom of the visor, effectively reduces wind turbulence, ensuring a quiet and ultra-comfortable ride every time.
