Shoei Hornet ADV Sovereign Helmet TC-10

The Shoei Hornet Adv Sovereign is a dual-purpose, full-face motorcycle helmet for adventure/touring/off-road bikers. Shoei Helmets carried out an in-depth survey into the use of their adventure helmets and re-vamped their range to reflect how riders were using them. Improvements to aerodynamics and ventilation enhanced the rider's experience on long-distance journeys and road trips, whilst their existing premium high-performance was maintained for the helmet use in any climate or on any terrain. The outer shell uses Shoei's AIM+ technology, multiple layers of organic and multi-composite fibres in various layers to deliver increased rigidity with a reduced weight. The inner has various densities of EPS for optimum impact absorption. The chin guard design has changed to be more like a motocross helmet to improve the airflow around the mouth when off-road riding. The chin strap has a D-ring fastening system. The padded inner is completely removeable and washable; there is removeable padding around the ears for additional noise reduction. Improved helmet ventilation is from four air inlets at the front on the chin, forehead and crown and seven outlets at the back of the helmet: four on the upper part just above the spoiler and 3 on the neck to effectively expel the hot air.
