I had rider 400 for 10 years it was brilliant replaced it with the 550 . JS ACCESSORIES OFFERED GOOD PRICE AND SWIFT DELIVERY . However the unit itself and setup was problematical with Bluetooth connectivity and acceptance of data transfer using the memory card TomTom do not offer phone call support which I feel would have helped me more at £285 it’s a costly investment and I personally found Tomtom support process lacking.

Easy to install on my bike and very easy to use the tomtom system. I have used tomtom systems in my cars for years and its always reliable and easy to use. They are very clear on directions and I managed to pair the rider550 with my sena headset. It comes with a bracket to fit the rider550 to your wing mirror or handlebars. Easy install with basic tools.

Took a long time to connect to GPS. I had the old TomTom Rider and this new one seems unnecessarily complicated with smaller icons which are harder to operate with gloves. However they do say this is the best sat nav out there. I guess I will get used to it.
