The sound quality is great. I wear disposable foam earplugs and as the speakers are a little thick I fitted them behind the lining on my Shark helmet so I was concerned that they might be too muffled but the sound up to about 60mph is still really good. At motorway speeds they become background noise to the usual wind noise which is still good and makes a long journey more bearable, and as they're behind the lining I still find them comfortable.
