Design engineer and keen motorcyclist, Claude Morin worked for Levior and Shark before launching his own brand Roof. The company name Roof came from the idea that a roof is a structure which protects, and the two O's are symbolic of motorcycle wheels. One of Roof's first motorcycle helmets was the innovative Boxer, the first flip front helmet where the chin bar rotated 180 degrees over the top of the helmet to avoid aerodynamic turbulence. Claude's original and creative style has resulted in some truly unique motorbike helmets; their Rats helmet's chin-bar was made from a metal lattice, in response to a request from an adventure rider who wanted more airflow; and the Bamboo is the only helmet in the world to have its outer shell made of natural bamboo. As Claude says "We have already thought of the helmet that will protect you tomorrow".
